On August 11, 2017 Mr. Amemiya Norio, Chairman of Board Directors of NPO - Traditional Japanese Culture Manners Meister Association paid a visit and had a discussion with the vice president, Dr. Nguyen Chi Hieu and other directors and deans of Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Heat and Refrigeration Engineering, Faculty of Automobile Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Academic Affairs Office, Science Management and International Cooperation Office, and Center of Student Consulting and Support.

With the purpose of equipping students with Japanese language and soft skill concerning Japanese traditional manners and culture for supporting job seeking in Japanese companies, the Traditional Japanese Culture Manners Meister Association introduces an intership program with providing short-term training courses of Japanese language and soft skill concerning Japanese traditional manners and culture in corporation with Vietnamese educational institutions. According to Mr Amemiya Norio, the program is also operated in Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan with the same purpose.
The program’s objects are either new graduates or senior students with excellent academic results who have a need of seeking internship or job in Japanese companies. To the internship purpose, after spending 11 months of working as internship in Japan, those students can go back the university and complete their study for graduation. Their internship time in Japan is recognized by the university in their academic achievement records. The short-term training courses of Japanese language and soft skill concerning Japanese traditional manners and culture lasts 10 months in Vietnamese institutions with participation of both Japanese and Vietnamase instructors. At the end of courses, the students will be interviewed by representatives of Japanese enterprises for internship period in Japan. Details of cooperation between the Association and the university concerning the progam will be continuously discussed in the next coming meeting.
