On 24/12/2022, the Center for Education Accreditation – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City organized the Closing Ceremoney of the the 2nd cycle educational institution official accreditation of Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City in accordance with Circular 12/2017/TT-GDDT of the Ministry of Education and Training including 25 standards with 111 criteria.
The closing ceremony welcomed the participation of the external evaluation delegation: Dr. Nguyễn Đức Nghĩa – Head of evaluation delegation, Former Deputy Director of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City; Assoc.Prof. Lê Ngọc Quỳnh Lam - Director of Education Accreditation Center - Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City - Member, Supervisor of the evaluation delegation and members of the external assessment delegation. Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City sent Dr. Phan Hồng Hải – Rector, Chairman of the Self-Assessment Council; Prof. Dr. Lê Văn Tán – Vice Rector, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Internal Assessment Council; Assoc.Prof. Đàm Sao Mai – Vice Rector, Vice Chairman of the School Self-Assessment Council; TS. Nguyen Xuan Hong – Vice Principal, along with members of the Self-Assessment Council, specialized groups, and representatives of units in the school.
After 5 days of working directly at the University, the external assessment delegation studied the dossiers, evidence, discussed, interviewed stakeholders, and observed, inspected the facilities, quality assurance conditions and completed the report. At the closing ceremony, the external assessment members reported preliminary results of the official survey according to 4 area groups of the standard including: Quality assurance on strategy, Quality assurance on systems, Quality assurance on functional performance (training, scientific research, community service) and Performance Results. Accordingly, the external assessment delegation made comments and assessments highlighting the strengths and at the same time made recommendations for the school to have plans to improve the quality of training in the coming time.

On behalf of the School, Dr. Phan Hồng Hải - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University would like to thank the experts of the evaluation delegation for working seriously, fairly and making objective comments for the university to promote its strengths, continue to improve the system, innovate university governance, improve the quality to meet the requirements of human resource training in the period of Industrialization - Modernization and international integration.

At the closing session, Assoc. Prof. Lê Ngọc Quỳnh Lam congratulated the university on its important achievementss in the past 5 years and thanked Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City for its continued trust and cooperation with the Center. Assoc.Prof. Lê Ngọc Quỳnh Lam highly appreciated the spirit of coordination of the school with the expert delegation; the school's efforts in self-assessment and preparation for the external assessment, which demonstrates the commitment and transparency of the school's quality to stakeholders, creating peace of mind for learners and employers.

At the end of the closing session, the head of the external assessment delegation, representatives of the Center for Education Accreditation - Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City and the Rector of Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City signed a completion minute of the institutional official quality assessment.
