The Scientific conference at IUH, which is regularly held twice a year, happily welcome Dr. Bui Van Quyen, Minister's assistant of Scientific and Technological Ministry; Assoc.Prof. Dr. Vu Van Khiem, Rector of Southern Department of Scientific and Technological Ministry; Board of Directors of Scientific and Technological Deparments; Representative of Human Resource Development Deparment, Ministry of Industry and Trade; Board of Administrators of other Universities in the region and Scientists from Belgium, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Viet Nam.
Dr. Nguyen Thien Tue, Executive Vice-Rector of IUH gave an opening speech at the conference.
In the opening speech, Dr. Nguyen Thien Tue, Executive Vice-Rector of IUH, revealed that this conference is more special than the last ones because it is organized in the exciting atmosphere of preparing for 10-year foundation ceremony of the University (24/12/2004 - 24/12/2014) and perform the University's policy about innovating scientific research management in order to enhance quality and effectiveness of scientific researches. During the past year, leaders of the University always concerned, invested in scientific research practice and assured that scientific research and technological transfer is one of main duties contributing to enhance training quality and serve welfare for people.
The results of the right policy above are shown in increasing quality and quantity of scientific researches among management and teaching staff of the University. This is illustrated clearly in the report of Assoc.Prof. Dr. Phan Chi Chinh, Chairman of Science and Training Committee & Vice Rector of the University. The 5th Conference has about 100 scientific reports belonging to many different filelds. The quality of these reports are much better than that of the last ones. The conference also appeals many researches of scientists from many universities in Belgium, Japan etc.
