On the morning of April 25, 2023, at Hall E4, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) solemnly held the opening ceremony of the 325th AUN – QA Program Quality Assessment for 4 training programs: Control and Automation Engineering Technology; Mechatronics engineering technology; Computer Science; Quality Assurance and Food Safety.
On the side of AUN- QA, the school was honored to welcome Dr. Maria Elissa J. Lao - Lead Assessor, Assoc. Prof. Pornpun Prajaknate - National Development Management Institute - Thailand (Food Safety and Quality Assurance Program Assessor); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eric Wibisono - University of Surabaya – Indonesia & Prof. Dr. Corazon L. Abansi – University of the Philippines Baguio – Philippines (Control and Automation Engineering Technology Program Assessor; Prof.Dr. Mohd Nizam Ab Rahman - Kebangsaan University Malaysia - Malaysia & PhD. Jo-Ann Y. Solomon – Immaculate Conception University – Philippines (Mechatronics Engineering Technology Program Evaluator); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anan Mungwattana - Kasetsart University - Thailand & PhD. Maria Hidayati - University of Negeri Malang – Indonesia (Computer Science Program Assessor; members of the Secretariat include Ms. Saruta Srichoosin and Ms. Chanapatr Changprasert (Punpun).

On the IUH side, welcoming and working with the delegation were Dr. Phan Hong Hai – the Rector, Prof. Dr. Le Van Tan - Vice Rector, Assoc. Dr. Huynh Trung Hieu – Vice Rector, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hong – Vice Rector, leaders of the training units evaluated this time are the Faculty of Mechanical Technology, the Faculty of Electrical Technology, the Faculty of Information Technology, the Institute of Biotechnology and Food Safety, together with the heads of units under the university and lecturers.

The programs evaluated this time include Control and Automation Engineering Technology; Mechatronics engineering technology; Computer Science; Quality Assurance and Food Safety.
On behalf of the school, Dr. Le Van Tan expressed his deep thanks to AUN – QA for supporting him during the assessment process. "Since it was first assessed in 2018, we have developed a specific quality assurance strategy not only for the curriculum but also for the institution. The sincere feedback from the auditors has helped us improve the programs, thereby achieving many successes in the accreditation and ranking of educational institutions". Prof. Dr. Le Van Tan said.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Maria Elissa J. Lao appreciated the preparation of the school, and the units under assessment this time. On the 3rd time I returned to work at the school, Dr. Maria Elissa J. Lao said, "Since we first joined the school 4 years ago, as well as after the 2021 online assessment, there have been a lot of positive changes at the school. I hope that all 04 training programs: Control and Automation Engineering Technology; Mechatronics engineering technology; Computer Science; Quality Assurance and Food Safety will achieve high results this time."
