On the morning of 25/11/2022, the opening ceremony of the 2nd International Conference on Advanced Technology & Sustainable Development - 2022 (ICATSD 2022) was held at Hall E4, IUH.
Attending the opening ceremony of the program was Prof. Dr. Marco Abbiati – Scientific Counselor, Embassy of Italy in Hanoi; Prof. Dr. Trần Hiền Hòa – Education Counselor, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Nguyễn Thị Hương – Representative of Southern Affairs Department, Ministry of Science and Technology; Dr. Lê Thanh Minh – Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology; Mr. Lại Thế Thông - Director of Đồng Nai Department of Science and Technology; Mr. Lê Tiến Dũng - Director of Ninh Thuận Department of Science and Technology; Dr. Phan Hồng Hải – Rector of IUH; Mr. Ngô Tấn Lợi – President of Eastern International University; Dr. Ngô Minh Đức – Rector of Eastern International University and more than 800 scientists and lecturers from 20 countries and territories including: Australia, Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada, China, France, India, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Malaysia, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, USA, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, Vietnam, ...
The conference attracted more than 800 researchers, faculty and students interested in science.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the conference, Dr. Phan Hồng Hải said that ICATSD2022 is a major international conference, an opportunity for professors, scientists, domestic and international intellectuals to meet, exchange and announce the latest research results in the field of science and technology, promote exchanges and cooperation in research. In the coming time, IUH will promote the application and transfer of scientific research results associated with the market and social needs for areas of the University strengths; participate in science and technology tasks and scientific and technological services; actively seek and receive grants and aids for domestic and international scientific and technological research cooperation projects.

During the plenary session, delegates heard the reports of the three keynote speakers of the Conference: Prof. Dr. Marco Abbiati - Scientific Counselor, Embassy of Italy in Hanoi; Prof. Dr. Tsan-Ming Choi (Jason) – University of Liverpool, UK; Assoc.Prof. Dr. John Luke Gallup - Portland State University, USA.

The 2nd International Science Conference 2022 will take place on 25-26/11/2022 focusing on exchanging, discussing and presenting advanced technologies, new achievements of science and sustainable development in the current period. After the overall opening session, there were 85 reports, selected from more than 200 full-text scientific works submitted to the Conference, presented by scientists at 05 professional sessions of ICATSD2022, including: Innovation and application in intelligent computing; Precision machining and advanced technology; Green Solutions; Sustainable development in transition economies; and Innovation and sustainable development in the humanities and social sciences.
