Determining that cooperation with enterprises is an important premise to improve the quality of training, promote scientific research in the direction of application, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) held the Signing Ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding with Cà Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company and the Center for Research and Implementation of High Technology – Technology Park. This is a milestone recognizing the cooperation between the University and partners, to promote scientific research and technology transfer activities in the coming time.
On the morning of 14/10/2022, at Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City, there was a signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement (MOU) between the University and Business Representatives: Cà Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company and the Center for Research and Implementation of High Technology – Ho Chi Minh City Hi-Tech Park, with the presence of Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Tùng – Deputy General Director of Cà Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company, Mr. Nguyễn Duy Hải – Director of Cà Mau Nitrogen Factory, Mr. Ngô Võ Kế Thành – Director of Hi-Tech Research Center – Ho Chi Minh City Hi-Tech Park and leaders of affiliated departments. IUH sent Mr. Nguyễn Xuân Hồng – the Vice Rector, Mr. Trịnh Ngọc Nam – Head of Science Management & International Affairs, Mr. Lê Đình Vũ, Director of Student Counseling and Support Center, Mr. Trần Thanh Ngọc – Faculty Dean of Electrical Technology, Mr. Nguyễn Văn Cường, Faculty Dean of Chemical Technology, Mr. Nguyễn Văn Nam, Faculty Dean of Mechanical Technology, together with representatives of lecturers and students.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyễn Xuân Hồng said that "IUH is an application-oriented university, so it is extremely necessary to cooperate with enterprises to promote scientific research, technology transfer, and participate in the training process. Over the years, the units in the school have also made connections in internships; coordinate the training of human resources; coordinate the implementation of scientific research works with Cà Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company and the Hi-Tech Research and Implementation Center – Ho Chi Minh City Hi-Tech Park. Therefore, the signing of the agreement between the University and the two units is expected to raise the level of cooperation, promote effective coordination activities, and achieve more success".

In response, Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Tùng, Deputy General Director of Cà Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company once again affirmed the strong relationship between the University, especially the Faculty of Electrical Technology. "Over the past time, we have cooperated with the Faculty of Electrical Technology in short-term professional training for workers, implementing scientific research projects and technological solutions for the company. I hope that after signing the cooperation agreement with the university, we can expand our relationship with other units such as the Faculty of Chemical Technology, Institute of Biotechnology Food Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Technology to continue expanding training according to orders, cooperation in research and technology transfer."

Also at the ceremony, on behalf of the Research Center of high-tech parks, Mr. Ngô Võ Kế Thành – Director of the Center expressed his satisfaction that over the years there have been many combinations between the school and the center. Lecturers of the Faculty of Electrical Technology have coordinated in scientific research and technology transfer projects, especially some lecturers have participated in the high-quality human resource training program of Ho Chi Minh City implemented by the Center. He also expressed his desire that "After signing the MOU with the university, the center wants to promote cooperation in the development and training of Masters in Automatic Control Engineering, along with the combination of implementing scientific topics at the department level or higher. IUH Faculty of Electrical Technology not only has a highly qualified teaching staff, but also a very modern laboratory system. This is the basis for the application-oriented scientific research process to become more practical."

Immediately after that, the MOU signing ceremony took place between the School Rector Board and the leaders of the units. For many years, IUH has constantly connected with businesses, always supporting the search for suitable internships through cooperation with partners and businesses, creating conditions for students to have a training environment, accumulate good and effective experience to be confident, brave, and mature in thought and action when participating in the labor market./.
